Group of interest - Next-gen sequencing

To be able to face the challenges that appear with the new sequencing technologies (so called next-gen sequencing), we decided to set up a group of interest dedicated to this subject. The participants will meet on a regular base (every two or three weeks) to discuss NGS related papers, studies or techniques.

Interesting tools

One of the most used set of tools to analyse Next-gen sequencing data (mainly for alignement and RNA-seq expression analysis)

FastQC : A very nice and easy to use java tool to check the sequence quality.
