Project description:

Support for a proof of concept for (Big) Data analysis in a manufacturing environment. Integration with different data sources, design and implementation of APIs for accessing the collected information. Research on applying different technologies like machine learning, data mining, etc. on the collected data.

Some of the tasks foreseen include:

  • pre-processing and clean-up of the data
  • Design and implementation of user interfaces for the data visualisation

The preferred candidate will have:

  • Experience in Software development using .NET and Javascript
  • Experience with RESTFul webservices
  • Skills in NoSQL Databases (MongoDB)
  • Experience with SQL Databases (MySQL)

During the 13 weeks of the programme, IBM challenges the students to solve a very current business problem facing a particular client. After a fast-paced process of ideation, the students take on an ideal solution and work towards developing a technical proof of concept and business case for the solution they propose. Throughout this process the students take on ownership of the project but are also closely guided by specialised mentors from IBM and have access to cutting edge IBM technology.

For 2015, we are looking for 12 motivated, entrepreneurial and talented students that will work in teams of four students from technical and business backgrounds. Dans le cadre d’un projet de développement logiciel innovant relatif à notre métier de la sûreté de fonctionnement vous êtes en charge de la réalisation des diverses activités de développement logiciel qui concerne les blocs diagramme de fiabilité (BDF/RBD) et les arbres de défaillances (AAD/FTA). Ce projet de développement logiciel est divisé en deux modules et peut donc être assumé par plusieurs étudiants et/ou plusieurs stages. Ce projet peut également faire office de projet de fin d’étude si cela cadre avec les exigences de la faculté.

Durée du stage: 3 mois minimum

Compétences minimales requises :

Le stage se déroulera dans les bureaux de Greenpeace Belgique qui emploie une cinquantaine de personnes et reçoit le soutient de plus de 100 000 sympathisans. Le stage se déroulera sous la supervision du Data Base Manager de Greenpeace Belgique, au sein du departement fundraising et avec l'appui ponctuel du service Information Technology.


Stage proposé

L'objectif du stage sera d'aider à la réalisation d'un dashboard opérationnel permettant la synthèse hebdomadaire de plusieurs rapports automatiques générés depuis cotre CRM (graphiques, indices de performance…) et de produire une documentation permettant de reprendre la programmation réalisée. D’autres demandes pourraient être définies en accord avec le stagiaire. Nous sommes ouverts à définir ensemble la solution technique la plus appropriée tout en privilégiant l’utilisation de logiciels open source.

Stages modélisation statistique de données

Description

Au sein de Mars Inc., l'équipe de recherche "Catalyst", spécialisée en sciences de la gestion, propose une position de stage dans le cadre du développement de méthodes innovantes d'analyse de données de consommateur. Les étudiants contribueront à différents niveaux:

  • sélection de modèles statistiques adaptés à l’analyse de données de consommateur - estimation des différents modèles sélectionnés
  • interprétation des résultats obtenus

L'environnement de développement est R (voir http://www.r-project.org/), un langage de programmation statistique open source proche de MATLAB. L'étudiant fera partie d'une équipe de chercheurs d'horizons divers, dans un environnement dynamique et multiculturel. Tout au long du job, le contenu et la complexité des tâches seront adaptés à son niveau de connaissance et d'autonomie.
