BruFence: Scalable machine learning for automating defense system






Project Overview:The aim of the project is to design systems based on machine learning and big data mining techniques that allow sensible and secure systems to 1) automatically detect attacks and fraudulent behaviors and 2) react efficiently in order to maintain the highest possible level of security. Two main domains of application will be considered (directly related to valorization perspectives): (i) automatic detection of threats and attacks against communication systems and more specifically against managed file transfer as well as collaboration platforms based on open source (cloud based or on premises) software (research sponsored by Steria Belux); and (ii) automatic detections of fraud in large amount of transactions (research sponsored by Worldline and Nviso).
